Target Easter Clearance - 90% Off

Went to two different Targets today to take advantage of the 90% off Easter clearance.  Spent about $25 that I put on a Target gift card I received for my birthday (so no money out of pocket) and filled my car's trunk with stuff.  Some of the items I got included really cute Goodnight Moon stuffed bunnies and rattles, bubble guns (they blow a thousand bubbles in one minute, claims the box) for 29 cents, lots of Hello Kitty and Barbie trickets for birthday gifts (a few of these items together make a nice gift and at 30 cents each, that's a birthday gift for under a dollar!), and some fun bags like Batman and Jake and Neverland Pirates that we can use for Halloween!  I am set for a while for birthdays, Christmas stockings, stuff to fill a birthday pinata, etc.  Did you find anything good at Target?

You May Be Eligible for Money from Yoplait

If you bought Yoplait's Yo-Plus products over the last few years, you may be entitled to a payment!  A class action lawsuit has recently settled against General Mills, and customers who bought the products between July 2007 and July 2012 may be eligible to receive some money back.  Apparently the company was accused of falsely advertising the digestive health benefits of its products.

Kmart Shoe Clearance!

Just bought these boots for about $9 on Kmart's website (after shipping).  They have a decent amount of shoes on clearance here plus I used a few dollars in Shop Your Way points.  I bought a similar pair at Famous Footwear the other day for about $40, so if these fit well, I'll return those.

New Smiley 360 Mission!

I just signed into my Smiley 360 account and received a new mission to try Arm & Hammer Sensitive Toothpaste.  If you haven't tried Smiley 360, it's a fun and easy program that frequently gives me free things to try out.

What I Did Today to Save Money

• We had a fun free morning at the local Easter egg hunt.  We spent some time outside enjoying the nice weather.  We even found a sickly looking turtle and happened to meet someone whose mother is an animal rehabilitation expert.  She put the turtle right into her daughter's Easter basket to bring home to her mom!  Hopefully she can help it.
• We stopped by the library to pick up some free DVD's and books.
• I returned a pair of pants to JC Penny that didn't fit quite right.  I then bought another pair of pants and  a shirt using the 10/25 coupon I was emailed.  My total was $16.  Not bad.
• Tried to not use any unnecessary electricity.
• Decluttered the basement, filling two boxes of books that will be donated.
